Trained as a lawyer at the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), Nagaba’s early career began in top law firms such as Nassuna Co. Advocates and Belva Advocates, where she advised some of Uganda’s biggest banks: Centenary, Finance Trust, Post Bank, and others.

From complex loan structuring to real estate deals and risk assessments, she quickly stood out for her precision, foresight, and ability to offer practical solutions. Her strong grasp of legal processes helped her guide institutions through high-stakes decisions with clarity and confidence.

But Nagaba’s heart has always been with the people. Beyond the boardrooms and legal briefs, she has spent years leading impactful community programs that have changed lives. As Secretary of the Rotary Club of Kyadondo, she led the Boy Child Upliftment Program in Kamwokya, training 25 young people in masonry through partnerships with Nakawa Vocational Institute and the Directorate of Industrial Training. All the graduates were placed in jobs and many are now continuing with further education.

She also helped moblise and set up an Early Childhood Development Centre in Luuka District to give underserved children a strong start in life. Her passion for education, early learning, and youth empowerment continues to guide her work today.

Nagaba is not only skilled in managing people and programs, she’s also brilliant at mobilising the resources to make them happen. She has built trusted relationships with international donors, corporate sponsors, and local partners. For instance, in Mbarara, Western Uganda, working with Passionate Hearts Ministries, she helped secure land and funding to set up a STEM Education Centre, a Vocational Skilling Hub, and a Feeding Program that now supports over 300 vulnerable people.

Her recent work in climate action, where she led a tree planting and sanitation project in Mukono District, shows how she blends sustainability, community ownership, and long-term vision.
