She launched her career at Palm Partners, a reputable real estate firm in Uganda, where she gained valuable experience as an administrator before progressing to the role of property consultant. Over the years, Sonia developed a deep passion for real estate, which inspired her to establish her own company, MJ Sonia Investments Ltd. Through her firm, she manages a diverse portfolio of Airbnb properties and land holdings across Kampala, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to sustainable growth in the real estate sector.

Beyond her business ventures, Sonia is deeply committed to making a positive impact in her community. Her extensive interactions with people from various societal backgrounds have fueled her desire to contribute meaningfully to social development. This passion led her to join The Bash Global Initiative as Assistant Operations Officer, where she plays a vital role in supporting programs focused on education, healthcare, and community empowerment across Uganda.
